Pre-production at AudioVision Production has two phases: Creative, and Technical. You could also think of them as The Big Picture, and The Details. Many video production companies combine these two aspects of pre-production together. The Big Picture always drives The Details, so we separate them and take a focused approach to each.
In The Big Picture stage we nail down the overall concept and outline of your video. Since we’ve been doing video production for over thirty years, we’ve learned a thing or two about what works in a given situation. Once we understand the purpose of your video and who your target audience is, we’ll discuss it internally and come back to you with suggestions and ideas tailored to your specific goals. We can then work with you to further tweak the video concept and details until we are both satisfied that this will be the most effective video for your needs.
The first stage of the video making process starts before we even sign a contract. We want to sit down with you and hear your story from your point of view. We’ll ask you about your overall corporate identity and culture, as well as specific needs and goals you have for the videos you want to produce. At AudioVision Productions we pride ourselves on being open and flexible, and we hope that you are too. That way we can put aside preconceived notions about what the video will look like before we even know what you want it to do for you, and arrive at the best solution together.
